The Children’s Society has produced a Donations in Memory pack which provides helpful information and materials to organise a collection for a loved one.

A Donations in Memory pack contains:
  • Notification cards to send to family and friends giving them details of the funeral service or commemorative service. It also tells them about Living Memorial Funds.
  • A leaflet showing how The Children’s Society brings hope for a better future to isolated and vulnerable children.
  • Information about collecting donations at the service.
  • Gift Aid envelopes – using these at the service will enable The Children’s Society to claim an additional 28p in tax relief for every £1 donated.
  • Thank you cards – used to thank family and friends for their donations.

Other materials:

  • Posters, flyers and information leaflets that tell people about making donations in memory are available, but they do not come as part of the pack.
  • If you are interested in raising funds in memory by taking part in events and treks organised by The Children’s Society, a guide is available. Write to: Supporter Services, The Children’s Society, Edward Rudolph House, Margery Street, London WC1X 0JL
  • Information on making regular donations by Direct Debit in memory of a loved one is also available.

Call 0845 300 1128, write to Supporters Services, The Children’s Society, Edward Rudolph House, Margery Street, London, WC1X 0JL or email supporteraction@childrenssociety.org.uk to order any of the above.
